Bahamas Mexico

The majority of “ first time cruisers” start with an ESCAPE TO THE CARIBBEAN…it is a relaxing, sunny escape to the many islands and ports around the Caribbean Sea.

Accessible ports, numerous itineraries, warm clear waters, caressing breezes and radiant smiles await you on the ship and all the islands you visit.  What a WONDERFUL way for northerners to escape the cold weather.  And southern folks love it too…in fact everyone does!  Who wouldn’t?

Three and 4 day escapes to the Bahamas make an EASY ESCAPE from the everyday busy life.  But, longer is better!  Seven day cruises are the most popular, but if you are a seasoned cruisier,  you know that 10, 11, 12 days or more are even better.

Seven day cruises are usually either Eastern Caribbean (St. Thomas, St. Martain, San Juan, British Virgin Islands, etc.).

Western Caribbean seven day cruises usually go to Mexico, and the Cayman Islands), however, the cruise lines are becoming more creative and trying to develop new ports all the time.  It is possible to do both areas of the Caribbean by booking 2 cruises (the cruise lines usually alternate the itineraries on most of their ships).  Many of our clients do this exact combination and have a 14 day cruise.

The Southern Caribbean cruises sail down to ports such as Aruba, the Barbados, Dominica, St. Kitts, Tobago, etc.   Some of these ports can be sailed to on a seven day out of San Juan (which now  is much easier to fly to from the US because more of the major airlines have direct flights) or a longer cruise from US ports.

Additional ports in Costa Rica, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, and Columbia are included in some the Caribbean itineraries.

In the spring and fall, many of the cruise ships sail through the Caribbean and then through the Panama Canal to the west coast of the US or South America.  These cruises are usually very well priced and an excellent value for people with the time period available to them.  There are also cruises available that sail round trip from Florida half way through the Panama Canal  and then back to their Florida part. These cruises stop at many of the Caribbean ports along the way.
